Jonathan Simon is a digital marketer, mobile strategist, and Director of Marketing & Communications at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa, teaching digital marketing at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Formerly the Director of Marketing at Magmic – a leading publisher of mobile games partnering with global brands like Hasbro (Scattergories), Mattel (Skip-Bo, Phase 10, Blokus) and Rubik’s Cube (Rubik’s Cube, Rubik’s Uncubed). He led the marketing team, responsible for marketing strategy, brand management, cross-promo, user acquisition, and ad monetization. His expertise includes Mobile Strategy, Content Marketing, SEO, Social Media, Programmatic Marketing, and Paid User Acquisition.
Jonathan lives in Ottawa, Canada and holds an M.B.A. from the Telfer School of Management. He is also a part-time professor, teaching Digital Marketing Strategy, Tactics, & Execution for the Advertising & Marketing Communications Management Program at Algonquin College.
